If you find changing the key of a piece difficult, you will love this trick…
Brand new in Sax School this week is a lesson where I show a simple strategy you can use to transpose music.
You might want to change the key of a tune you already play, or perhaps you are transposing from alto to tenor, or piano part to saxophone.
Either way, it can be difficult to accurately move a melody without a system.
How to transpose easily:
In the lesson I show how you can use a Chromatic Scale as your “ruler” to move a melody.
If you need help understanding Chromatic Scales, check out my 7 Chromatic Scale Workouts here – they are essential for all players!
Once you understand how to use my Chromatic Scale / Ruler system, you will be transposing tunes fast!
