One of the most neglected skills I see in saxophone players is a good sense of timing and rhythm.
Generally it’s something that is forgotten about until it becomes a problem – you can’t play in time with backing tracks, struggle to work out rhythms and find playing in a group difficult.

Brand new in Sax School this week is the first part of the Rhythm Skills Workout Mini-Course which guides you through some exercises to build your sense of rhythm. It might start really easy, but by the end of this course we will be doing some quite advanced rhythms that will surprise you!
