When you develop the link between your fingers and your ears, you can literally play anything you image.
Wouldn’t that be fantastic?
This is the essential skill for saxophone players when it comes to improvising in any style. And, it’s easy to develop with a little practice.
In this lesson you’ll learn a simple exercise that will help you develop the “ear – finger” link fast. I’m using a Christmas song today (because I’m filming this lesson on 1st December!) but any tune will work.
Don’t forget, once you get this technique down, you can apply it to any tune, from “Silent Night” to “Giant Steps”!
Enjoy, and let me know in a comment if it helps you.
